Gorgeous circa 1870 vintage GOTHIC fireplace mantle.
Wood – most likely pine.
Has great victorian design – wonderful crackled white paint – needs to be cleaned!
Measures 48″ wide x 46.5″ high x 8″ deep.
Firebox opening is 24″ wide x 33″ high
Square nails showing on back side!
Would make for a wonderful piece in restoration or even repurposed as a head board. I’ve also see many decorators use mantles as simple ornamentation in any room or hallway in a home!
