19th century Banner weather vane – most likely Fiske, NY origin

Original gold gilt on banner weathervane with strong likeness to one shown in Fiske catalog. c1870 Smuggler Horse weathervane – Harris, Boston, MA

Ca. 1860-1870 . Classic form with great definition to the body. Full body copper. Fine condition with traces of a gilt surface and yellow paint with some verdigris. 20.75″H with stand x 34″W x 2″D at head SOLD!
